Amanda,
I will be updating my WEB page with all the latest
YOGMAEAL's up till Issue
80 tonight. I have also included some descriptions for the hot one's !!.
Check them out
I am
also adding two BMP's for GM, one from a the Club Tropicana Vid and the
other from the Unplugged. (They are provided by Brent
Pearson)
The Older single should be released in Oz end of this month - January. Tell
me why does MM show the video when
there is no release ??
(I have no idea. I think it's a mistake with Virgin sending out the video to
all the foreign
countries, and forgetting Canada is part of DreamWorks
territory, otherwise I have no idea. AG)
Apologies for not updating
my page any sooner but I was really busy !!
Anyone interested in the STW EP and Dance Mixes I have only 3 copies of each
left.
(How
much for the Dance Mixes? Which I presume is the single, which I need.
AG)
If you can email me Andrew pic for me to post
onto the WEB that would be
great.
(As soon as AOL will let me, sure. But failing that, maybe the person who
sent it my
way, Kamala, can post it for full credit. AG)

Hi
Amanda,
How's life?
(There. Yours? AG)
Somebody wanted to know if Kissing a Fool and Monkey were released on Cd. I
know
that they were, I picked up a promo on KAF in a new and used music
store. Also, on the Different Corner boards several people
have been looking
for Monkey on Cd. Esprit mail order was rumored to have had them, but it
isn't on the list I just got from
them. Neither was Too Funky....wahhh! I
think I may have found a copy elsewhere, though. I
kick myself for deciding against
buying the Cd in Musicland. I had it in my
hands and it was cheap!
About your videotape losing the audio, be very careful
where you store your
tapes. I ruined a whole bunch of mine when I left them on top of my tv. It
can ruin cassette and video
tapes, speakers can also do this, it's the
magnetic force that ruins them..
(I thought of that, but they were in their
standard storage spot, well away
from the speakers. Many the visitor to my home, including my 8 year old
nephew last week, has
been yelled at for that sin... Oh well, these things
happen... AG)
I am looking for a copy of Unplugged on CD. I can trade
Spinning the Wheel EP
for it. I also would like a copy of the UK thing they had on Radio One, if
someone would be willing to
copy it for me I would be eternally grateful. I
can send tapes and pay for all postage.
Later, Jen

Hello all!
To the
person who is looking for Japanese CD's of George: I was just at
Tower records on Saturday and I saw a Japanese import of the
JTAC cd single
with the following songs on it: JTAC, Freedom '90 live, One More Try gospel
version, and the Older
instrumental. It probably is the same as the one you
could get from EQS, but it did have Japanese writing all over it on the

and inside as best I could see. It was $11.99 I
believe. If you or an best album for their chart-topping album

Amanda and everyone: Hello! I haven't posted for
a while but I am lurking
about.
Working in a large record store is hell at Christmas let me tell you-now it
is just totally
boring with nothing new coming out of interest till March :(.
I just wanted to let the Americans out there know that the
sheet music book
for Older is available at/through all Sam Goody/Musiclands. My store
received 2 copies!
There are some
cool pictures in it.
Loved the Radio 1 interview, so much more relaxed than interviews done in
the US
in general. I want to
move to London !!!!
I got a world band radio for Xmas because I wanted to be able to listen to
Radio 1
but of course I
can't find it! Can anyone help? I need to be able to hear
cool music!
Love to all,
Stephanie

Amanda,
Thank you for adding
me to YOGMAEL. I am really excited to be a member. I
have had the chance to read some back mail already due to a member of the
list
being a good friend of mine (Carolyn Perkins). It sounds like you all
have a lot of fun and a lot to offer to the list. I am
looking forward to
being part of it.
(Welcome and hope to hear from you. AG)
Thanks, Rebecca

Hey, Amanda -
I just received a copy of an interview CD
called "George Michael - The
Unauthorized Edition" published by Virgin. Included is a CD writes:
-----------------------------------------
"Star
People" was released to clubs on 12" remix in the USA this week. The
remix is very hot, and should have no trouble
climbing the charts. If
everything goes well, the cd single will be out in a few weeks.
(But I think we all know that
everything NEVER goes well Alan... AG)

When
is that man coming to the San Francisco Bay Area AND WHY did the
George Michel International Fan Club close down without the fans
knowledge???
(I'm
not sure when he's going to be there. But I'm sure Alicia will fill me
in, probably with a phone call... As for the Fan Club,
George felt he no
longer wanted a fan club, I think because he didn't feel the need to be a
star anymore, so he didn't feel
the need to let us obsess over him. AG)
Looking for Yog,
Christina

What are Wham! Books? And where would I be able to obtain them?
(Wham! books
are books written about George's former band. I own about 5.
Where can you obtain them? I've gotten mine in music memorabilia
shops, you
can also try mail order companies who specialize in music. But I have to
warn you, they're really rare. AG)

Hi,
Your doing a great job
Hope you get over your illness
(Thanks,
just about back to 100%. AG)
Quick question, you mentioned George is Greek Orthodox. Do you think he
speaks Greek?
(No.
He talks of Greek school in Bare, but mentioned that he hated it
because he had no idea what the hell he was learning. He may
have learned
some, as do all ethnic kids, but I'm not sure his command of Greek goes much
past some cursing... AG)
The
other question is : Wouldn't it be great if he sampled some Greek
melodies into a song or two. That would really be getting
personal I
suppose, since he's big on the inner self reveal itself in songs.
(My mom has always joked that George should
have done an album of bouzouki
music to get out of his contract with Fony. Still, I'm starting to see dance
remixes of the
good old bouzouki... AG)
Anyway, I always thought Andrew looks Greeker than George. George looks more
international.
(George
looks pretty typically Greek to me, while Andrew looks very middle
eastern. AG)
I ordered the Older single at HMV to be
delivered from England. I'll let
you know how it sounds.
Bye

Hi.
Thanks for
your suggestion of linking up with George in Australia for the
unplugged. I have already done so and he has promised me a copy
when his
arrives (Thanks again George).
(George's copy went into the mail on Monday. AG)
Also, I heard a couple of
months ago that GM was going to be doing a song
with Shirley from Pepsi and Shirley. Shirley has supposedly got herself into
some
financial trouble and they were going to release the single to help her
out. I haven't heard anything else about it. Does anyone
know anything about
it?
(Wow, no I haven't heard anything about it. Are Shirlie and hubby Martin
Kemp still together?
Not that Martin's acting career is exactly stellar.
AG)
Thanks
Nicole.

Hi Amanda
and all you Yoggers :)
I've just seen GM's Older video, he looks strange there: very tall and thin.
What do you think about
it?
(I haven't seen it as yet. Working on it though. AG)
Bye.
P.S Amanda, could you please send me an adress of distributers of your notes
book, the closest one to Israel.
(Try the one in Australia:
Warner/Chappell Music Inc, Australia
1 Cassins Avenue
North Sydney, New South Wales 2060
Australia
