Ok, so in listening to the Evita sountrack for 12 hours a day since I boughtit New Year's Eve--yes I greeted the New Year listening to Don't Cry for MeArgentina--I think I have found a new cover tune for Georgios. Anyone withthe soundtrack, listen to track 4 of the second CD, give or take a couplelines, I think George could relate to that track.
Alas, I spent 8 hours dubbing videos yesterday, and dealing with a number ofharsh George jokes...not a brilliant day
really. Oh well, I did get dubsdone for: Brant, Dan, Carolyn, Christie, Chris, and JT. Sorry, I ran out oftapes Connie...and Alicia,
I'm not sure what all you need. A number ofpeople have asked about another dubbing day, and there will be one reallysoon. I think I
may avoid the marathon dubbing days, and just do one or twotapes from now on... The cost of a 2 hour video taped on SP on a
MaxellSilver tape with postage, and padded mailer remains $10. What I won't tape: Stuff you can get it on a commercially released
video. What I will: Yearsof George stuff pulled off MuchMusic. One note, when first sending me snailmail, note your e mail address
too please.
AND AWAY WE GO...

Hello
GM fans,
I just want to share this article about GEORGE MICHAEL in the magazine called
'FLIP SIDE' . This magazine printed
on recycled and environmently friendly
paper. so here it comes
"Gotta have some faith in the sound, it's the one good
thing that I've got....." So sung George Michael, the most famous bearded man on the planet, on his single Freedom ' 90. The
song, in title only, echoed George's 1984 hit with Wham!, Freedom. Whereas the first Freedom was a sugary sweet dancenumber, the
1990 version was a wordy epic which had a George telling hisfans: " I think there's something you should know, I think it's
time I toldyou so. There's something deep inside of me, there's something else I've gotto be....sometimes the clothes do not make
the man." As serious as it was,Freedom 90 was about the lightest thing on George's Listen Without PrejudiceVol-1 album. One of
the major musical events of the start of the 90s wasGeorge Michael getting serious. He burnt his leather jacket and guitar, hegave
only one interview (to say he wasn't going to be doing any interviews),he didn't appear in any videos and he didn't play live. The
man who wrote:"Sex is natural, sex is good, not everybody does it, but everybody should"serious? Yep, it happened. "
I'm stopping because I just realised that itmakes me unhappy, " George said in his only interview (with the UK's QMagazine).
George's
moody serious album came as a surprise. Here he was telling peopleto "Listen Without Prejudice" when more than 16 million
people had bought andlistened to his 1988 Faith album. Six singles off the album went Top 5 inAmerica. It was the biggest selling
album of 1988. But here the Thoughts ofGeorgios Kyriacos Panayiotou, 33, might explain why he got so serious: " Iseem to have
spent the last six years of my professional life trying myhardest to convince the world that I was the most arrogant,
narcissisticegomaniac that ever walked on the earth." I have to say, that part was easy. The difficult bit is going to be
doubting that he was and still is incrediblypopular.
(This is an oldie, but still worth noting. Thanks Rehan. AG)
Happy
New Year to all GEORGE MICHAEL's fans on this planet.
Rehan Lets write a verse for George Michael, like a compliment and love we feel I checked out both

visted the
pages of these clients, I cannot say how good Intervid is at
making homepages. But I'm assuming they're not too bad. It would
appear,
judging from the url for Aegean, that they are paying these
people around 5,000 pounds sterling to make the site and
then 500 pounds per
month to maintain and update it. I wonder if the e-mail addy they'll put on
the page will be to Aegean or
to Intervid...either way, I wanna know WHO will
read the e-mail? Aegean folks or Intervid people???
http://www.intervid.co.uk/aegean and came up empty. Of course, this just
means that they are not
uploading the site until it's totally finished, which
is smart of them. I know this isn't much news, but I wanted to check this
out
and well, have some fun with the net. I know the url we've been given
is: http://www.aegean.net, but this is just the sign-up
page. I'm sure that
they'll have a similar but different addy once the page is ready to run. Any
thoughts on this from anyone
else?
the sign up page may be bounced to the
end of the page once it's
transmitting. Well, at least that's what I'd do... AG)
however...in no way am I knowlegeable...just incredibly obsessed!! *lol* But
thanks
Meg. :-) The back up singers were as follows: (starting with Jo right
in the middle behind George, the only really mellow one...)
Jo Bryant, Lori
Perry, Sharon Perry (I always get the Perry sisters confused so it may be
Sharon next to Jo and not Lori),
Shirley Lewis (my absolute fave, she's so
cute and funny!!) and Katie Kissoon. The gentlemen were as follows (starting
in the
middle, right behind George) Ola Onabule, Jay Henry, Jay Ray Ruffin.
The Jays, can again be in the opposite order..I only know
them as Jay #1 and
Jay#2, Jay #1 being the one with the hair and right next to
Ola and Jay#2 without the hair and at the very
end. I hope this makes sense.
Anybody can offer which Jay is which and straighten out the Perry sisters
for me? Thanks! :o)
napkin in my leather jacket--YES PEOPLE I WEAR LEATHER AND
EAT MEAT!!!--there
is all the vocalists names and the band's too. But since Kinga has done such
a great job, and there is a
posting that came in yesterday about the band,
I'm saving myself some work. I will tell you, I noted three familiar names
in
the Band Personel: Alan Keyes, George's clothes stylist; Mel--yes it said
Mel--Panayiotiou, and of course Siobahn Bailey. I can
tell you that Jay #1
is Jay Ray Ruffin, and Jay #2 is Jay Henry. As for the Perry sisters, alas,
that would require me to dig
out my Concert for Hope, which is currently
MIA... AG)
Station). For those who don't live in the UK or haven't had a chance to take
a look at the results
(http://www.capitalfm.co.uk), I've copied and pasted
all the George and duet songs that made the top 500. I also included the
whole
Top 10. Did I miss it, or was there no Wham! songs in the top 500??
And away we go:

bit
is that the two worst songs of the whole decade (in my humble, but loud,
opinion) "How Bizarre" by OMC and
"Breakfast at Tiffany's" by the Deep Blue
Something made it into the top 200!! (178 and 198, respecively). Sorry if
anyone
on this list likes these songs, but I found them to be waaaaay
overplayed and not really worthy of any of my ear-time. :o)
contributing the Radio One Interview Transcripts and Amanda for sending them
to us. I haven't yet received my

their way, so hopefully, I shall get them soon. I think the interview was
brilliant...loved
the slap!! All in all a great interview, but I shall
spare you the exact details of my thoughts, I believe this is a long enough
post.
But thanks again Amanda and Aidan!

MTV Unplugged concert. Here is what I know...
many times before. Here is a run down.
Hugh
Burns, Danny Cummings played on the Wham! Music from the Edge of Heaven
Album.
Chris Cameron, Hugh Burns, Steve Sidwell
all played on the Faith Album
Without Predjudice
Album
Shirley Lewis sang on the Listen without Predjudice Album and the Faith
Album.
Reflex video, you might recognize him as the percussionist. Hugh has been
around
since the Fantastic album, and I think has done everything BUT the
Faith Tour. Danny too has been around forever. Shirlie also
did a lot of
work for Elton John. AG)
