Greetings all! You've gotten daily YM for the last several days in
myseemingly futile attempt to get all caught up, hopefully I can go back toevery second day with this issue.
I got a whopping
5 hours of sleep last night, and have been at work all dayat my desk, but of course not on homework. I do have a shiny grey
keyboardthough, and can actually find things in my little office area again...
Had this weird YM dream last night. It
involved Andrew and (his psuedo-Mrs.)Keren. Now I recently promised someone that I would do a special ANGEMAIL togive some info on
Andrew, and so I spent my few hours of sleep thinking I wasat work on YM. Weirder than that, it had something to do with a craft
show, and works devoted to Andrew and Keren by this cult following of sorts. Ithink I may need psychological help...
Notes: 1.
New members: never reply to all, submit your info to me for posting. 2. Anyone here fluent in French? I need a translator
a.s.a.p.! 3. I think we're at 260 members now 4. In an attempt to educate the masses with useless George trivia, I will
beputting a daily trivia question at the end of each issue. You can answer itif you want to, but don't worry, I won't hold my
breath... 5. In reading through all my mail, I've noticed how many of you weregenuinely worried about me last weekend, my
heartfelt thanks for you concernand best wishes. 6. People are asking for issue #32, which for some reason, I can't seem tofind.
This leads me to believe that I misnumbered, and just plain skippedissue 32. Am I right?

Happy voting!

Also, where in the US are the two Spinning the Wheel CDs being sold? Isthere a place in the US that is

we should get together with anyone who can be inLA the same weekend we are, and hence here we are making plans for YOGWeekend '97.
Tell you what, I'll even have commemorative T shirts made up. For now, we need to decide on the weekend. Alicia and I had
originallyplanned to get together for drinks on George's BDay--which would necessitatemy getting on a plane and flying several
thousand miles. Can anyone who'sserious about joining us, please let me know if they have any preference? Ifigure I'll be in CA from
about the 15th through the 30th, so anytime 'roundthere is best for me. AG)

Well I like them but when it comes to music, GM is my number one! And becauseof that,
people think Im pretty queer.

I still
remember the first time I heard a GM song or should I say Wham! song.It was 1984, I was three and my mom and I were at a restaurant
and just as wewent in, Careless Whisper was on with the sax solo and stuff and I loved it!Of course I didn't know who GM was at that
time.

Hello all!:)
I wanted to, as AG so aptly put it "share my plethora of knowledge" w/all
ofyou!:) Firstly, the "Love Machine" performance on "The Tube" question. I sawthe beginning of that
performance--and George was busy telling people not tobuy the Megamix and the tape machine started!:) Being the professionals
thatthey were, Andrew started pretending to play his guitar and George startedlip-syncing!:)AHHHHHHHHHHH! The boys at thier
finest!:)
(Especially in their little short shorts... AG)
Secondly, are we sure MTV will be broadcasting
"Unplugged"--they BETTER!:)
(Yes my dear, we are sure, and it will be December 11th. I trust I'll begetting a copy
for XMas? AG)
Lastly, on the shaking of the ass question--I have to go w/"Edge ofHeaven"--for gratuitous shot,
although "I'm Your Man" is indeed such adelightful little video...I'm more of a chest woman though, so the chasingthe
airplane scene in CW brings a tear to my eye as well as sensation toother parts...
(Really Alicia, try to control yourself...
AG)
I must go and now...for soon I will be OLDER:)
(Once more, my belated BDay wishes that you should have gotten in
personOctober 13th, and not that sad lounge version of Happy Birthday I left onyour answering machine... AG)
Bye for now!:)

Knowing you were going to send this
out tommorow I had to get it to you.
Here it is the MTV interview. I'm not sure if its the complete one but I'lltake what I
could get.
Hi, I'm Kurt Loder with MTV News.
Eighties pop god George Michael
seems to have spent most of the nineties incourtrooms and lawyers' offices rather than in recording studios, all in astruggle to
break free of his old label, Sony Music. But when he finallysucceeded, the years of declining to do press or videos seemed finally
toweigh against him. Michael's third solo album, "Older," released earlier thisyear, sold just over 1 million copies, a
shockingly paltry amount for such aonce major star. Now, Michael is doing videos again, and last weekend he satdown with John Norris
for his first TV interview in more than three years. Here 'tis.
JOHN NORRIS: Six years ago George Michael earned a reputation
as a sour puss. The hook-driven pop music that made him famous all but disappeared on his lowkey 1990 release "Listen Without
Prejudice." He refused to do virtually anypromotion, and he wasn't happy with his record company, Sony Music -- so muchso that
he took them to court in a protracted legal battle to get out of hislong-term contract -- a case he ultimately lost. (To George
Michael) Eventhough the decision did go against you and with all things considered, it wasworth it going through all this
litigation, and...
GEORGE MICHAEL: Oh yeah, it was absolutely worth it. It was a terrible wasteof time but I had absolutely
no choice. One of the difficult things abouttaking on Sony was because I knew peoples' attitude would be "Look, thesilly git,
doesn't want to do any interviews, doesn't want to make anyvideos, he's not gonna do this, he's not gonna do that, and then he
complains'cause they don't push his album." It was really about the attitude. Itwasn't really about anything else. It was about
the fact that OK, well if hedoesn't want to make videos for the moment, then we've got loads of otherartists. The fact that he's
sold however many million records up until now isof completely no relevance, you know. And it was really about attitude. Icouldn't
work with people that didn't care about my career really.
NORRIS: Eventually, Dreamworks and Virgin Records teamed up for an
expensivebuyout of George's Sony contract, allowing him to release this year's"Older," his first album in half a decade.
It was a somber, laid back effortthat, while performing respectably in other countries, got a decidedly coolreception in America.
MICHAEL:
I think a lot of people in America don't even know I have a recordout. You know every time I get into a cab or fill up my car with
gas someonegoes, "hey man, when are you putting your album out?" And, I'm like, "uh,It's out."
NORRIS:
Michael has backed off on one of his vows, not to appear in videos. In fact, he's even dancing again in the clip for the song
"Fastlove."
MICHAEL: I was not supposed to be under the shower, but a certain point inthe evening with a little
uh... Let's just call it a little stimulation, Iwas persuaded to get under that shower. It was only the mighty old spliffthat got me
under there.
(OK, now this was truly an interesting thing to read... A friend of minetold me that a local radio station
consequences, you know. Which isfine.
KURT: Michael's great escape from the Sony label required him to agree to cutthree new
tracks for a greatest-hits album that Sony will release next year, and the singer says he'll also provide videos for all three songs.
Alsocoming up in December will be "George Michael Unplugged," as well as a fullhalf hour of his interview with John
Norris.
(OK, the interview itself aired this weekend, I've arranged to get a copy ortwo, a full transcription--maybe done in
segments--would be most appreciated, otherwise, I'll post one in December. AG) To Wrap it
Up:
I'm taking tomorrow off, because I've almost got everything under controlagain.
In Monday's issue watch for: 1.
ANGEMAIL - A special feature on Andrew Ridgeley. 2. Someone's selling off their George collection, and you've got the firstcrack
at it. 3. An ad from Nancy. Rarities and one of a kinds.
