It's been a nice leisurely weekend, got all my laundry done today,
and theincoming mail is now no earlier than September 20th!!! So, keep the faithanyone I still owe, I'm getting to it!
OK, so
in a long chat with Alicia--we like to make sure the long distancephone companies make some money--her and I came up with a little
idea: Howmany George fans can arrange to spend a weekend or so in Los Angeles nextJune?
Sorry...just a thought I got
right now, long after I sent out that othernote... If George really was in "Eight Seconds"...why would he do that? Weall
know how much he hates being in front of a camera...doesn't really seem like something hewould do, does it?
(This seems true,
but George likes to the unexpected once in a while. Recallthe story of the FastLove video shoot. Rumour has it George was not to
beone of those dancing in the "shower", but at the last minute decided hethought it might be a good idea if he did! The
result? Well if I have toexplain the appeal of George in wet leather, you're either a heterosexualman, a lesbian, or else just plain
not human! AG)
BTW...the web page will be ready for it's first visitors very soon...so anyideas you guys have would be
appreciated.

Why was '39, the first song that GM sang at the
Freddie Mercury tribute, notadded on the 5 live EP???, it was a really nice version. Thanks.
(I have no idea. I thought it
would have been a nice idea. All I can thinkof was a problem with getting the rights from the songwriter--but I thoughtthat one was
"a traditional", so I don't know. ANYONE? AG)

Are any of GM's concerts on
video. If so where can I purchase one.
(None released commercially. I do have Disney's Concert For Hope. Bootlegsare said to
exist. AG)
Hello Everyone, OK here is my story of when I met GM. In 1991 I moved from Madison, WI toDenver,
CO to attend school (Colorado Institute of Art) and I knew no one inDenver until I met a friend the first week of school who
actually worked atthe local radio station called KS104 FM. Anyway, he mentioned to me that hesometimes gets tickets and backstage
passes for concerts and said that GM wascoming the next month for his Cover to Cover Tour and asked if I wanted togo. I said
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! and I could not believe my luck. I was soexcited that I called everyone back home and asked my friends if they
wantedto fly out to see the show and no one coul were so Star struck they could not say a word butme I talked up a storm telling him
he was a very big influence to memusically and how I have been following his work since the Fantastic days andalso talked about his
management company because I was interested in Management at the time and we talked about the management company in CA andUK. He
then offered me a free Tour book and autographed it for me!!! WOWtoo nice I say. Then after a while a man came in being his tour
manager andsaid "George must leave now to get ready to go on" I must have shook GM'shand like five times out of excitment.
Then his last words to me were"CHEERS!" so that is one reason I use my "Cheers!" at the end of my e-mailaside
from the fact I picked it up living in UK. Anyway, he was so nice and polite and let me ramble on and really seemedto care what I
was saying to him. Very nice guy so dont let anyone tell youany different. Ok now I have to say if you ever get the chance to get
frontrow DO IT! it was the best to see GM up close and I swear he looked at me andwinked a friendly wink twice during the show when
he came up to the front ofthe stage just a friendly wink like a hello of sorts. ANyway I got to takesome cool pictures as no
security stopped me because of my backstage pass Ihad on I assume but I did eventually run out of film. Bo is going to addsome of
the pictures I took onto his page I think or one or two so be sure tokeep an eye out for them. Well all I can say is I will never
forget the experience and am glad I got the chance to meet him and know forsure that he is as nice in person as he appears and is
very kind and I haveto say taller than me as I am 5'8" unless he was wearing some special shoesor something because I know
people were wondering about how tall he was orsomething
. Well I hope that helps anyone who was wondering about my meeting
with GM andto all I say...Cheers
(CONGRATS!! All I have to say is: I need better connected friends!!!! AG)

I'm interested in the CDs for the single to Spinning the
Wheel and the newDance Mixes album. I should be able to special order them from my localshops but if I had the manufacturer numbers,
my quest would go much moresmoothly--I'd know that what I want is what I'd get--no hit and miss. Anyword yet as to a tour or a video
tape of the videos from Older...and now thatI think of it, a video from Listen Without Prejudice Vol 1? I too have theLWPV1
interview CD--I picked it up at a used CD store. My local stores dohave a list of who's looking for what, so that's a great
resource. Land locked in the US.
(Actual release # of the EP--on Virgin/Ęgean--is 7243 8 93741 2 4. NO wordon any video
compilations, but highly unlikely considering Mr Michael'sgeneral animosity towards them. As for a tour, we'll have to settle for
anMTV Unplugged set to air November 24th. AG)
On LWP do you know what Cowboy's and Angels is about. I've tried attributingmany meanings to
it, but I'm really interested in anybody else'sinterpretation as well as Yog's if he has said anything about that song.

WILL BE DOING CONCERTS IN ENGLAND AS WE ARE GOING THERE NEXT YEAR ANDWANT TO PLAN OUR HOLIDAY AROUND THIS...
(No real
definite tour plans. The gigs he was supposed to play in the UK,and the US tour to follow fell through. AG)
A PIECE OF NEWS
FOR ALL THOSE GEORGE WORSHIPPERS... GEORGE, WITH FAMILY INTOW WAS SPOTTED ON A PLANE TO A SMALL INDONESIAN ISLAND LAST WEEK.
APPARENTLY TO HELP HIS POOR MOTHER RECOVER FRO Georgia area? Thanks a million.

I have the complete text of what Rosie O'Donnell said to her band
leader,John, about George Michael from Friday's "Rosie O'Donnell Show." They hadjust come out of a commercial where the
band had been playing "FatherFigure." Rosie usually sings the song as they come back from commercial so Iwas hoping she'd
talk about George. Here's what they said:
(Rosie sings a bit of "Father Figure" as they come back from the
commercial.)Rosie: "George Michael... I love him too. You're playing everyone I lovetoday." John: "Good." Rosie:
"Can we book George Michael?" John: "That would be great." Rosie: "I would love to book him." John:
"His new CD is great... you know... Older." Rosie: "Yeah, the new CD." John: "I love that one." Rosie:
"I love it too. He's great. I love him." (Thanks for saving me some work!! AG)
I've heard Rosie sing
"Father Figure" and "Faith" after a set of commercialsso I taped it this time. That was a nice plug for the
album in the U.S. Ihope some people buy the album now.
(A note, I cut class on Friday, and forgot to watch Rosie until about
halfway through, but I did manage to catch this part! She keeps singing hisstuff, and I knew it was only a matter of time before she
would say "Can webook him?", and I'm just glad I got to see it!! Unlikely though this may be,a guest spot on Rosie could
create a lot of interest in the MTV Unplugged. Elton's booked, so's 0}+>, Madonna's bound to, so I think George should geton
there too!!! AG)
Also, I'd like to know if the CBC has any video shows anymore. They used tohave "Good Rockin'
Tonight" and an afternoon video show. Do they have videoshows anymore, Amanda? Unfortunately, I don't get MuchMusic. (I
diddownload the "STW" clip from BeatUK so thanks to whoever mentioned that inYM!!!!)
(The CBC? Nope. All we have is
Much now. Are you from Canada Melanie? Infact, we don't have any video shows in my area--which is SouthwesternOntario. I do remember
seeing my first Wham! video on "Toronto Rocks"though, I had come running home from school as usual to watch it--I was
aRick Springfield and Duran freak at the time--but I caught a glimpse of theWake Me Up video, and haven't looked back since... AG)
