be a while
longer. The incoming mail to yogmael-at-aol.com is being run in order of
receipt.
Sorry for the delay in

some sporadic service for the next 30 days.
Lastly, fan get-togther in

Amanda,
I hope all is well with you - and that school
isn't too tiring (or is it
us that is too tiring?!).
(It's all been a blur since '88 really... AG)
For Yorgos and his
family:
I would like to send my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I
was so sorry to hear about Leslie's passing. I
am very close to my own
mother (she lives with me and my family) so I can only imagine the pain
that your family is
experiencing right now.
I find it quite ironic that in this time of sorrow -- when love and support
is
so important,
there doesn't seem to be enough of or the right words to
say to the one man who has given so much to us all with his own words.
I
am, humbly and sorrowfully -- without words.
Your faithful friend and fan,
Debbie

Hello to all GM fans
My name is Mariska and I'm from Holland. I'm
not a good english
writer and I would like to get in touch with Dutch George Michael
fans. I'm sure there are enough fans in
Holland to he is a misunderstood artist.
Ya!...That sounds familiar, but really, I truly believe people only see
the Wham! guy
and not the great artist that he is. Well, after reading
this great medium that you have provided to us, the fans, I am not sure
if
you have heard about the RED HOT & DANCE CD. It includes 3
songs from George Michael: TOO FUNKY, DO YOU REALLY WANT
TO
KNOW, & HAPPY. The CD is absolutely great. I can't tell you
about the other songs, because I never listen to them, only
George...
Oh! I obtained this CD while I was in London a few weeks ago.
(The 4th track is a Madonna song that's pretty
good. AG)
I also obtained the 4 songs CD THE OLDER E.P. which includes the
best song ever sang by George, I CAN'T MAKE YOU
LOVE ME.
Although he didn't write this song, he sings it much better than Bonnie
Raitt. The feeling is simply incredible! It's
like the saddest song ever.
Finally, I too have been with you only recently, and I would like to
obtain any past information
you may have shared with other fans.
If it's possible of course.
(Hit the archives:
http://www.ozemail.com.au/~alhatu/archive.htm)
My first information received from you dealt with his mother's death. I
also
sent him an e-mail to his AEGEAN address. How incredibly sad...
Well, sorry for this dissertation, I'm so happy I can communicate
with
others concerning my number passion, GM. Thank you for everything,
Nathalie (ngendron-at-interquest.de)

it is nice that you care so
much for george michael that you and the
rest of the gang send him letters showing your sadness for the lost of
his mother. if
he does read what you and the gang write don't you think
that it is time that you lead him remember his mother his way . give the
man
a break . it is time that you write something diffrent and if you
and the gang really love george michael send him what really
really is
going to help him amd his family a prayer. if you and the gang send
him prayers he is going to feel more contrable
and he is going to feel
it in his heart.
(I know there are still notes of sympathy to run, and the reason I'm
doing this
as I am is because the only other option was to run up 2
or 3 Condolenses issues, which I know no one wanted, so this way
we
drag the issue on a while, but at least they get read. AG)

I WANT TO BE A MEMBER OF THIS MAILING LIST. I'VE BEEN
A FAN SINCE 1984. I ENJOY HIS MUSIC VERY MUCH.
UNFORTUNATLEY I DON'T
HAVE FRIENDS WHO LIKE TO TALK
ABOUT HIS MUSIC. THIS GIVES ME AN OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE
MY THOUGHTS AND EXPRESS MY APPRECIATIION
FOR HIS
MUSIC AND THE PERSON. ALSO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT
UPCOMING CONCERT DATES, NEW RECORD RELEASES.
LIVING IN COLORADO WE
DONT GET THIS INFO . WE DONT HAVE
RADIO STATIONS THAT PLAY HIS MUSIC.. ONLY ONE JAZZ
STATION DOES BUT NOT AS MUCH AS THEY PLAY
OTHER
ARTISTS. IT'S FRUSTRATING. PLEASE ADD ME TO YOUR LIST. I
LOOK FORWARD TO TALKING WITH OTHER FAN MEMBERS.
THANKS
AGAIN

After
having subscribed to YOGMAEL for MANY months now, this is the
first time that I have actually posted an e-mail of my own. First
let
me say that I applaud the individual efforts of everyone who does
what "they do" and supplies us "George
Fanatics" with a means to
congregate and share with one another all that George, both as a
personality and of course
through his incomparable music, has meant
and continues to mean to each and everyone of us. As a type, I am
listening to the
OLDER cd that has continued to grow on me and age
like a fine wine with every new listen; like LWP Vol. 1, it's not
filled
with as much "ear candy" as FAITH or perhaps some of the WHAM!
recordings. And, again, just as with LWP Vol. 1, I have
felt that
this cd would appeal to the George Michael fans who do not
necessarily "count themselves among" (Star
People reference, :>)
those George fans who are drawn primarily to those releases that have
experienced
"crossover" or commercial success. Anyway, enough of
that..............
his family during this time of sorrow and suffering over the loss of
his mother. I have been
fortunate in my life to not have lost any
member of my immediate family, so to that extent I can not relate to
what he and his
family must be coping with. George and his music
represent so much of my life; from my teenage years when my room
often looked
as if it had been done with WHAM! "wallpaper", to my
early twenties and my time in the military where LWP Vol. 1 helped
to
sustain me during the rigors of training and lull me to sleep at
night; to the present. I think it would be safe to say
that the
music of George Michael has acted as the "sound track" for my life
over the past 10 years or more. A
heartfelt, "Thank You", will never
be enough to convey your impact on my life George.....................
issue of YOGMAEL (#123), someone asked about the book, "George
Michael:
In His Own Words." I have head the pleasure of treading
this book and would recommend it for any serious GM fan. If you are
expecting
a book written in the form of an autobiography, you'll be
surprised. The book is essentially a collection of quotes from
interviews
and the like over several years. There are some terrific
black and white pictures of George, including some that date back to
the
VERY early days of his partnership with Andrew Ridgeley. One
picture in particular toward the beginning of the book will require
a
definite double take in order to verify that you are in fact looking
at Mr. George Michael himself! Now a question, has
anyone else
visited the the AEGAN site and found yourself disappointed? I have
found when I select a particular year of
George's life, I am not able
to scroll down and read or view the entire "page." Also, some of the
icons on the home
page do not bring anything.....Just curious if
anyone else had a similar experience or could offer any insight.
forward to the forthcoming issues of this stellar fan club
newsletter.
I have often felt that George was underrated and under appreciated.
OBVIOUSLY, I was wrong............... :>
